Welcome to North Wingfield Medical Centre

With patients' needs at the heart of everything we do, our website has been designed to make it easy for you to gain instant access to the information you need. As well as specific practice details such as opening hours and how to register, you’ll find a wealth of useful pages covering a wide range of health issues along with links to other relevant medical organisations.

Of course we’re not just here for when you are unwell. Our team of healthcare professionals and back-up staff offer a number of clinics and services to promote good health and wellbeing whatever your medical condition.

PATIENT/VISITOR NOTICE 10.10.2023 :

Following recent guidance from NHS England to all GP Practice Settings, and in response to the high rates of COVID cases in the local community, we are once again asking all patients to please wear a mask if possible when presenting at the Surgery. This is to protect all of our patients, staff and visitors and to help prevent further spread of the virus.

Thankyou in advance for your understanding and cooperation.

South Hardwick Primary Care Network is a partnership of 9 GP practices who are working closely together to enhance patient care and provide more appointments for patients.

We are committed to providing the best service to our patients through collaboration both internally and with external partners.

The Enhanced Access Service aims to make it easier for people living in South Hardwick to get an appointment with a GP or another health professional by providing additional appointment times in the early mornings, evenings and on Saturdays.

The extra appointments are a mix of face to face, telephone and if appropriate, virtual. The periods in which extra appointments are available are below.

Please contact your practice to book an appointment and please note that face to face appointments during these times may require you to travel to and see a clinician at a different practice to your usual one.

Monday - 7am to 8am / 6.30pm to 8pm

Tuesday - 7.30am to 8am / 6.30pm to 8pm

Wednesday - 7am to 8am / 6.30pm to 8pm

Thursday - 7am to 8am / 6.30pm to 8pm
